It is 4 40 am in Hong Kong. For me, it will be the last time that FireFox opens to this
for a while. The family was strongly lobbying for another visit next year at this time for the same duration. ... We'll see.
More than previous visits, this trip was a whirlwind. Previously there were sick people to visit in hospital, which took the appropriate large amount of time. With no one to care for this time, we were treated by everyone to food almost constantly.
It was like going to a Disneyland of food 24 hours a day, every day, for 17 days straight. At one point, my stomach rebelled and I spent about 12 hours in the hotel room being ill. It ended up not being food poisoning as much as exhaustion and the price of massive gluttony.
I have taken 1600 photos on the trip (I love Gig cards in digital cameras). So I will be writing more. I've also amassed more survival tips for Gwei Lo. So I'll post those as well on the flight home.
At 8 45 on Monday I take off from HK, at 8 15 on Monday I land in SeaTac. Then, likely, I sleep and act funny for a day or so.
