So I don't sound overly cranky today, I want to record some praise for Hyperwords.
You can see here it in action for me. You simply highlight anything on a page and then you get a huge array of choices. You can search, look things up, tag it, translate it, blog it ... just an amazing list of nearly everything you might want to do with some information.
It's clean, easy to use, and has yet to fail me.
Looks great! But I can't find the actual download. Am I missing something or have they taken it off?

Hey Sue.
You will need to sign up on the site for the next Beta version. Sorry about the confusion!

Thanks Frode,
It's true, the system is still cycling through Beta. I thought the sign up was a bit more prevalent. I can't give a direct link to the beta list, but there's a Beta-beggar link under the Hyperwords logo in the middle of the home page - available at the link above.

Nice. Reminds me of some old skool (pre-web) hypertext interfaces.
Other hypertext systems have used these kinds of menus to handle links that point to multiple things at the same time (which is somewhat like what hyperwords is doing).
They also were used to show back links, especially in hypertext systems that had literally two-way links.
