A quick run of the numbers will show you that MySpace has millions of daily users and a statistically insignificant portion of people doing bad things. Despite being owned by Rupert Murdoch. But legislators are fixing to shoot MySpace down in the interest of scaring up votes.
Two quick things:
1. It might be better to shore up the failing education system with the resources spent chasing ghosts in MySpace. That just might have a larger impact on kids.
2. Politicians should all have their own MySpace sites and get kids involved in politics. Heck, along the way politicians might even remember the reason they are there in the first place.
