I have some to add to my Hong Kong survival post yesterday. And will add still more later after I get the proper USB cable for my camera.
But a few other things.
1. Air Conditioning and the Out of doors
In HK there are many air conditioners running all the time. Most are stuck on the sides of buildings, which means the are overhead and dripping water. Usually it helps to walk under awnings. If there are no awnings, watch for wetness on the ground and walk around it. It may not be much water to walk over, but you are walking under too.
2. Feeling tired of the air pollution?
As I mentioned yesterday, the air pollution here has gotten much worse lately. Popping through one on Hong Kong's many several block long indoor shopping malls or walking through the subway is a great way to breathe filtered air.
3. ... but I never saw it coming....
Gwei Los are famous for getting run over by cars. Don't do that. HK has one way streets that are marked at their entrances but you may not be crossing at an entrance. Always look both ways, even if the street is hardly narrow enough for a car.
I'll get those pictures up in a few hours.
