I am well served to have a group of friends who are active on-line community-ers. One of the best tools is shown above, the /for/ tag in del.icio.us. I know I've talked about it before, but just taking a look at what's come in over the last few weeks is rather special.
Whenever I go back over it, I vow to use it more. Here we see people directing information at me that is directed by their perceptions of me - what they think I'd like to read. Personally.
Nancy brings me food and Social Media. Ed brings me social media and transit. Veronique brings me members of her family and ... eep ... social media.
I love this stuff!

And you know what? It's such fun to have this tool to share goodies with friends. I love how easy it is to share the relevant stuff with people directly... for some reason e-mail doesn't cut it for me, just feels too awkward. But posting a link for: someone? Love it!

More transit is on its way! I should have a board member from the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority at the weekly a2b3 lunch series tomorrow, and all my transit geek friends (the ones who have the bus schedules memorized for their routes, and especially the ones who know how long it takes to walk home) need an introduction.
