« Launching the Personal Kanban Book | Main | Why Im Excited About Lean Camp »

My current legal practice is focused almost entirely on contracting and other transactional issues. One non-intuitive point that many people I deal with on the business side forget is that it's often actually more efficient to bring the lawyers on board early and keep them in the loop throughout for any potential changes in scope. With an experienced, practical, business-minded lawyer, some of those issues that arise in later implementation can be headed off in the contracting phase...when and when they belong. We're not here to slow the deal down or to kill it; we're here to make sure there are no hidden faultlines that can bite you in the ass later.
